🌞 Sun: Hit the Water & Head Outdoors 🍉
🚋 Eléctrico de Sintra - The historic tram runs from Sintra all the way to Praia das Maçãs on the Atlantic. A 45-minute scenic ride kids love — tickets bought on board. Running daily through the summer. • Sintra stop location • Beach stop location
🛥️ Boat Tours - Cascais with 4Adventures, Oeiras with AquaStart and Lisbon with Blue Cruises or Oceanarium
🥾 New themed trails have just opened at Tapada de Monserrate. The two shorter ones are great for exploring with kids. Not stroller-friendly and best suited to ages 5+
🟢 Verde – Floresta (2.2 km)- A woodland walk through forest ecosystems, with wildflower meadows and insect hotels along the way.
🔵 Azul – Água (3.3 km) Follows Monserrate's historic water system through streams, ponds and lagoons, with wildlife observation points throughout.

🚀 Navy Planetarium — Daily shows at 10:30am (ages 3–10, 35 min) check the full schedule for programmes by age group. Follow on visit to ⚓ Navy Museum next door with a vast collection of ships, maps and navigational instruments · Location

🔦 Poço Velho Caves, Cascais — Cool underground caves in Cascais, adult sized helmets provided, smaller kids should bring their own bike helmet. Open on weekends 10:00 - 13:00 & 14:00 - 18:00 • FREE • Location

🐼 Festival Panda 2026 this popular festival is back in Oeiras with two daily sessions (9:00 and 15:30). Featuring all the favourite characters, live performances, and this year a dedicated family zone, secondary stage and kids' disco with dance classes. 🌿 Ambiente no Parque - Free outdoor workshops, theatre and nature activities popping up at Cascais parks this summer. Highlights include building wooden animal toys, exploring a beehive, making natural paints, and a recycling theatre show. 🧩 MAAT – Kids & Family this Summer — Lisbon's riverside art and technology museum has a packed summer programme for kids.
